I've been writing a lady from Ukraine and I was wondering how difficult it is and how long it takes to get a lady U.S. of this country?

There is no such thing as a mail order bride. A Ukrainian single women between 18 and 40 is unlikely to get a tourist visa to USA. The Embassy rejects 99% of them. No one can help or speed up the visa (or get the "work visa", etc.) The only way to get a visa applies directly to the U.S. embassy. As for marriage (through a fiancee visa), which lasts about 2 years. Must have met the girl at least once in the last 2 years (in person), and prove to the USCIS and Embassy that you have a "real" relationship. USCIS application takes about 8-12 months, using a lawyer. Once approved, applies to the U.S. Embassy in Kiev for a visa and must show the relationship again. Then she has to undergo medical tests, vaccines, etc. Then and only then, will be issued a visa. And it takes more time if you are not using a lawyer. Canada has similar waiting times. I have friends who have waited 12 months or more with a lawyer.
